Another picture of Poco. He did the funniest thing just a moment ago. He's sleeping in his crate when all of a sudden he barked. I think he was dreaming of Zhen :-)
Tomorrow will be the first day of my new job as a medical interpreter for University Hospital (part time). I'm quite excited/worried about it. It's a big commitment for me since I have never had a job in which I couldn't back out of something last minute. First was the lab and then the contracted interpreting... However, there has been a lot of firsts w/ this job. Since I've never been to an interview of any kind until I had to go to one for this job. I think the one thing that'll be on mind the whole time during orientation is Poco, since I haven't been apart from him since he came home for any longer than a hour.

Poco

Ok, I can't help myself. I admit it. But this time it's not really my fault. What had happened was that Zhen lost Casey (our second cat for those of you who don't know) while I was at my parents the only night I was away. So as a "replacement" pet for Casey...even though in my mind he can't be replaced...Zhen and I decided it was time for a dog. So this is our newest member of the family. His name is Poco (Spanish for "little" I think), he weighs in at 2.35 pounds and he was exactly 4 months old when I got him. For a little guy, he has lots of personality.
I don't know how I do it every time. Whenever I go out for a pet, I have in my mind what my ideal would be and every time I come back with that very same thing. Not that I'm complaining of course...just I'm really bewildered in how it works out great every time. For those of you who think I am running a zoo (I think everyone I know has told me that), I have now: 8 fish, 2 golden snails, 3/4 shrimp in my fish tank and 1 cat and 1 dog. So it's not as bad as it sounds. Just seems like I'm getting a new pet every month or so. ^-^ Stay tuned for tons of cute pictures of Poco.

Oops

Without even realizing it, a whole month has almost passed by. Don't worry nothing drastic has happened recently... other than the fact that I got hired by the University Hospital here as an in house interpreter. I guess I'm just goofing off for these next two years until Zhen settles down. Well here is another lip-syncing video that I loved.

This guy is so adorable! I hope he never hears anyone say that, he doesn't look like the type that would like people talking about him that way ^-^
